YAEL’S STORY:

On April 6th 2022 Yael suffered from an unexpected life threatening brain bleed and multiple strokes. Doctors needed to immediately operate on her and she had a procedure called a hemicraniectomy.

June 28th, 2022 Update:

From Kaylee “Mom said she would love if a meal train could continue for a bit longer. Its been helping her a lot. She is getting stronger everyday but still has many doctors appointments. She will not be able to drive/work for at least 4-6 more months and is awaiting a final date for her next surgery. She will be returning to RWJ to have the piece of her skull that was removed put back in. We are all praying for the best outcome and that all will be well.”
