In place of our annual tournament, Steps Together invites you to the brewery for a fun day connecting with friends while playing cornhole. Bring your chairs and picnic blankets. Open boards with on field sign up will be available to challenge friends. 2021 Cornhole Champs will be named through one-way 10 bag throwing contest. Entry is free, donations welcome.

Why aren’t you having the normal tournament?
The reality is it’s still a weird time. Steps Together is seeing lower participant numbers at events and selling out a tournament could be hard. We are also having this event a month later than usual and day light is not on our side. We understand so many of our supporters have weekend commitments with their families so our hope is this open play event will mean more people can swing by and participate.
Will you have a full tournament again?
Absolutely!
Is there food?
Testo Food Truck will be onsite at 4 PM. Steps Together will be offering light packaged snacks. You can bring your own food too!
What is a one-way 10 bag throwing contest?
For a $10 donation to Steps Together, you get to throw 10 bags. The score will be tallied at the end by bags remaining on the board and through the hole. That’s a lot of bags so you’ll need a little strategy to not knock bags off! Competitor can donate and throw as many times as they like. All results will be recorded. If needed, the no charge tie-breaker round will begin at 4:30 PM to name the Top 3 2021 Steps Together Cornhole Champs.
Is there a charge?
Nope, it’s free to attend but donations always welcome.
Can I bring my kids? My dog?
Sure, bring the kids. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed in the area that we rented.
How will the open boards with on field sign up work?
Challenge your friends to play on the next open set of boards by writing your names in on our poster. When one game is over, the next set of players on the list will be called to play. We see it like the line at Homegoods! Please be aware that the field is not flat so we are categorizing this as Technical Cornhole!
How will Steps Together benefit?
Steps Together always benefit as events bring awareness to our mission to help those in our community impacted by a medical crisis. Donations are also appreciated. Steps Together will be serving beer that we purchased from the brewery so alcohol profits and tips to our bar tenders will also be donated.
Will there be anything to spend money on?
Food and drink will be available for purchase. We will have a basket auction. We also welcome any donations of items, baskets or gift cards for a small “highest bidder” auction.
How can I help?
We need servers to check IDs, wrist band participants and serve from 1 to 5 PM. See sign up above!
How should I RSVP?
It’s not required but responses to our Facebook Event will help us anticipate the crowd.
Is there a rain date and how will I know if it’s cancelled?
Our rain date is Sunday, October 24th, 1 to 5 PM. We will post on social media any cancellation updates.
